Christmas 2008

Christmas came and went, and it was very exciting for all of us. Xander was able to be involved in opening the presents and enjoying his toys (more than the box and wrapping paper). Denise came to spend the holiday with us, of which we really enjoyed (especially Kuma). Christmas day was clear and cold, but we did have snow on the ground. Xander rack up the gifts of lego's, play hut with balls, trains, bath toys, puzzle, toy phone & keys, movies, clothes, and a some more stuff from his grandparents that is still arriving. David and I kept it simple and exchanged a few small gifts, but did get a new living room sofa & chair with ottoman, blue-ray player, universal remote and some expansive pillows (well wroth the cost). The next day, we took Xander sledding with Kuma pulling him. He went through bouts of crying and smiles. He has this weird reaction to snow now that he picked up from school. David and I are trying to help him enjoy the snow again. Today is the last day of 2008 that even has an extra second in this leap year. Here's to starting the year all over again. Happy New Year.
